Was sind Produkte mit Variationen?

Produkte mit Variationen sind Produkte gleicher Art, die sich nur in gewissen Eigenschaften (Attributen) unterscheiden. Ein Beispiel hierfür ist ein T-Shirt, das in verschiedenen Farben und Größen erhältlich ist.
 
Bei Produkten mit Variationen legen Sie zunächst ein Hauptprodukt an, von dem dann die weiteren Variationsprodukte abgeleitet werden. Hierfür bestimmen Sie die Attribute, durch die sich die Variationen unterscheiden – zum Beispiel Farben und Größen.
 
Jede Kombination aus Hauptprodukt und Attributen ergibt ein Variationsprodukt, das eine eigene Produktnummer besitzt und individuell bestellt werden kann.
 
Ein Beispiel: Als Hauptprodukt erstellen Sie ein T-Shirt. Die für die Variationen relevanten Attribute sind Farben (mit den Werten weiß, schwarz) und Größen (mit den Werten S, M, L). Auf diese Weise können Sie folgende Produkte verkaufen:

• T-Shirt in Weiß, Größe S
• T-Shirt in Weiß, Größe M
• T-Shirt in Weiß, Größe L
• T-Shirt in Schwarz, Größe S
• T-Shirt in Schwarz, Größe M
• T-Shirt in Schwarz, Größe L

Wie lege ich meine Produkttypen fest?

Produkttyp "Standard"

Der Produkttyp "Standard" spielt eine besondere Rolle für Ihre Produkte. Alle Produkte werden erst einmal automatisch mit diesem Produkttyp zugeordnet.

Beim Anlegen eines weiteren Produkttyps, werden automatisch alle beim Standard enthaltene Attribute mit übernommen. Dies ist hilfreich, wenn sich Attribute bei allen Produkttypen wiederholen. Als Beispiel wäre dies z.B. bei Kleidung die Attribute "Größen" und "Farben"

Um den Produkttyp "Standard" zu ändern gehen Sie wie folgt vor:

1. Wählen Sie in Ihrem Online-Shop im Hauptmenü Produkte und dann Produkttypen aus.

2. In der Tabelle sehen Sie alle momentan angelegten Produkttypen. Wählen Sie hier den Namen "Standard" aus.

3. Klicken Sie nun auf den Button + Hinzufügen

4. Geben Sie nun der Attribut einen Namen und wählen den gewünschten Typ aus. (Welche Attribut-Typen gibt es?)

5. Wenn Sie beim gewählten Produkttyp "Text mit Werteauswahl" gewählt haben, können Sie noch die möglichen Werte hinterlegen. Klicken Sie dazu auf den eben angelegten Namen. Hier können Sie nun bis zu 20 Werte eingeben. Klicken Sie nach Eingabe aller Werte auf Speichern und danach oben auf Ihr Produkttypen-Name.

6. Falls Sie weitere Attribute hinzufügen möchten, wiederholen Sie die Schritte 3-5.

 

Weitere Produkttypen hinzufügen

1. Wählen Sie in Ihrem Online-Shop im Hauptmenü Produkte und dann Produkttypen aus.

2. In der Tabelle sehen Sie alle momentan angelegten Produkttypen. Klicken Sie hier oben auf den Button + Hinzufügen

3. Geben Sie dem neuen Produkttyp einen Namen (Beispiel T-Shirt) und klicken auf Hinzufügen

4. Nun sind Sie in diesem Produkttyp und können diese Bearbeiten. Hier sehen Sie, dass die in dem "Standard" Produkttypen hinterlegten Attribute automatisch übernommen wurden.

5. Um nun eigene Attribute zu hinterlegen, klicken Sie auf den Button + Hinzufügen.

6. Geben Sie nun dem Attribut einen Namen und wählen den gewünschten Typ aus. (Welche Attribut-Typen gibt es?)

7. Wenn Sie beim gewählten Produkttyp "Text mit Werteauswahl" gewählt haben, können Sie noch die möglichen Werte hinterlegen. Klicken Sie dazu auf den eben angelegten Namen. Hier können Sie nun bis zu 20 Werte eingeben. Klicken Sie nach Eingabe aller Werte auf Speichern und danach oben auf Ihr Produkttypen-Name.

6. Falls Sie weitere Attribute hinzufügen möchten, wiederholen Sie die Schritte 5-7.

 

 

Welche Attribute Typen gibt es?

Typ	Beschreibung	Beispiel
Text	Alle Arten von Texten: Namen, Adressen, Materialien etc.	Attribut "Autorname" beim Produkttyp "Buch"
Text mit Werteauswahl	Wie Typ "Text", jedoch definieren Sie für dieses Attribut eine Reihe von möglichen Werten. Wenn Sie dann beispielsweise die Eigenschaften eines neuen Produkts dieses Produkttyps erfassen, können Sie einen dieser Werte auswählen, anstatt einen Text einzugeben.	Attribut "Größe" beim Produkttyp "Klamotten", wenn es die gleichen Größen sind.

 

Wie lege ich ein neues Produkt mit Variationen an?

1. Wählen Sie in Ihrem Online-Shop im Hauptmenü Produkte und dann Produkte anzeigen.
 
2. In der Tabelle sehen Sie eine Übersicht aller Produkte Ihres Online-Shops. Um ein neues Produkt hinzuzufügen, klicken Sie oben auf den Button + Hinzufügen

3. Fügen Sie nun dem Produkt alle Informationen hinzu wie z.B. Produktname, Beschreibung, Preis und klicken auf Speichern.

4. Wählen Sie danach oben Variationen.

5. Ein Assistent hilft Ihnen nun dabei, die Variationen zu erstellen. Wählen Sie dafür Assistenten starten.
 
6. Wählen Sie einen Produkttyp oder erstellen Sie einen neuen, indem Sie unter Produkttyp die Option Neuer Produkttyp wählen. Produkttypen sind die Basis für das Erstellen von Variationen. Der Produkttyp gibt Attribute vor (z.B. "Größe") und deren Werte (z.B. "M" und "L"). Geben Sie bei dem Produkttyp "Neuer Produkttyp" einen Namen (z.B. T-Shirt). Dieser Name ist später unter "Produkttypen verwalten" sichtbar und kann dort auch erweitert und angepasst werden.

7. Wählen Sie nun bis zu 3 Attribute für die Variationen. Sie können auch neue Attribute und Werte hinzufügen.

8. Wählen Sie Weiter.

9. In der nächsten Tabelle werden Ihnen alle möglichen Variationsprodukte angezeigt, basierend auf den von Ihnen angegebenen Attributen. In der linken Spalte können Sie die Variationen auswählen, die erzeugt werden sollen. Ist dort kein Haken gesetzt, wird diese Variation nicht erstellt. Produkte, die mit einen grauen Haken angezeigt werden, wurden bereits zu Ihrem Shop hinzugefügt. Diese können an dieser Stelle nicht deaktiviert werden. 

10. Wählen Sie Fertigstellen. Nun werden Ihre Variationen erstellt.

Sie können jetzt weitere Schritte vornehmen:

• Eine Variation bearbeiten: Wählen Sie die Artikelnummer einer Variation, um Änderungen an der Variation vorzunehmen.
• Bearbeiten Sie die Variationen in der Tabelle: Wählen Sie beispielsweise die Artikel-Nr., den Namen oder den Listenpreis einer der Variationen. Anschließend können Sie diese Daten ändern. Um weitere Daten einer Variation zu ändern, wählen Sie den Pfeil am Ende einer Zeile. So können Sie beispielsweise den Streichpreis, das Versandgewicht, den Produkt-Code oder die Referenzeinheit für diese Variation ändern. 
• Zeigen Sie die Variationen im Shop an: Wählen Sie Produkte in der ersten Spalte der Tabelle aus und wählen Sie den Button Sichtbarkeit, um Änderungen vorzunehmen. 
• Ergänzen Sie das Produkt um weitere Variationen: Wählen Sie den Link Assistenten starten in der Box oben.

Wichtiger Hinweis

• Wenn Sie das Hauptprodukt löschen, werden auch die Variationen gelöscht.
• Variationsprodukte können keine eigenen Variationen haben.
• Wenn Attribute gelöscht werden, können alle Produktdaten, die für diese Attribute definiert wurden, nicht mehr geändert werden.
• Sobald Variationen für ein Produkt existieren, kann sein Produkttyp nicht mehr geändert werden.
• Wenn Sie den Lagerbestand für ein neues Produkt mit Variationen anlegen, wird dieser für alle Variationen übernommen. Sie können für jede einzelne Variation gesondert den Lagerbestand pflegen. Das erledigen Sie, indem Sie im Administrationsbereich im Hauptmenü Produkte und dann Produkte anzeigen wählen, die Artikelnummer des zu bearbeitenden Hauptprodukts wählen und dann den Mauszeiger über den Lagerberstand einer der Variationen bewegen. Wählen Sie das Stift-Symbol und sie können einen Lagerbestand eingeben. Den Mindestlagerbestand können Sie beim Hauptprodukt angeben.
• Die Anzahl der Werte, die Ihnen zur Verfügung stehen, hängt vom Shoppaket ab, das Sie gebucht haben.

What are products with variations?

Products with variations are products of the same type that differ only in certain characteristics (attributes). An example of this is a T-shirt that is available in different colors and sizes.
 
For products with variations, you first create a main product, from which the other variation products are then derived. For this purpose, you determine the attributes that differentiate the variations - for example, colors and sizes.
 
Each combination of main product and attributes results in a variation product that has its own product number and can be ordered individually.
 
An example: You create a T-shirt as the main product. The relevant attributes for the variations are colors (with the values white, black) and sizes (with the values S, M, L). In this way, you can sell the following products:

• T-shirt in white, size S
• T-shirt in white, size M
• T-shirt in white, size L
• T-shirt in black, size S
• T-shirt in black, size M
• T-shirt in black, size L

How do I set my product types?

Product type "Standard"

The product type "Standard" plays a special role for your products. All products are first automatically assigned with this product type.

When creating another product type, all the attributes contained in the standard are automatically taken over. This is helpful if attributes repeat themselves with all product types. As an example this would be e.g. with clothes the attributes "Sizes" and "Colors"

To change the product type "Standard", proceed as follows:

1. In your Online Shop, select Products from the main menu, then select Product Types.

2. In the table you will see all the currently created product types. Select the name "Standard" here.

3. Now click on the button + Hinzufügen

4. Now give the attribute a name and select the type you want. (What are the attribute types?)

5. If you have chosen "Text with value selection" for the selected product type, you still have to store the possible values. To do this, click on the name just created.  Here you can now enter up to 20 values. After entering all values, click on Save and then on your product type name at the top.

6. If you would like to add more attributes, repeat steps 3-5.

 

Add more product types

1. In your Online Shop, select Products from the main menu, then select Product Types.

2. In the table you will see all the currently created product types. Click the + Hinzufügen button at the top here.

3. Give the new product type a name (example t-shirt) and click Hinzufügen

4. Now you are in this product type and you can edit them. Here you can see the attributes stored in the "standard" product types automatically stored.

5. To deposit more attributes, click on the button + Hinzufügen.

6. Now give the attribute a name and select the desired type. (What are the attribute types?)

7. If you have chosen "Text with value selection" for the selected product type, you still have to store the possible values. Click for this on the name just created.  Here you can now enter up to 20 values. After entering all values, click on Save and then on your product type name at the top.

6. If you want to add more attributes, repeat steps 5-7.

 

 

What are the attribute types?

Typ	Description	Example
Text	All kinds of texts: Names, addresses, materials, etc.	Attribut "Autorname" beim Produkttyp "Buch"
Text mit Werteauswahl	Like type "Text", but you define a number of possible values for this attribute. Then, for example, when you enter the properties of a new product of this product type, you can select one of these values instead of entering a text.	Attribute "Size" at product type "Clothes", if they are the same sizes.

 

How do I create a new product with variations?

1. In your Online Shop, select Produkte from the main menu and then Produkte anzeigen.

2. In the table you can see an overview of all products in your Online Shop. To add a new product, click the + Hinzufügen above.

3. Now add all the information to the product such as product name, description, price and click save.

4. After that select Variationen above.

5. A wizard will now help you create the variations. For this, select Assistenten starten.

6. Select a product type or create a new one by selecting Neuer Produkttyp under Produkttyp. Product types are the basis for creating variations.  The product type specifies attributes (e.g. "Size") and their values (e.g. "M" and "L"). For the product type "New product type" enter a name (e.g. T-Shirt). This name is later visible under Manage product types and can also be extended and customized there.

7. Now select up to 3 attributes for the variations. You can also add new attributes and values.

8. Select Weiter.

9. In the next table you will see all possible variation products, based on the attributes you specified. In the left column you can select the variations to be created. If there is no check mark here, this variation will not be created. Products that are displayed with a gray check mark have already been added to your store. These can not be deactivated. 

10. Select Fertigstellen. Now your variations will be created.

You can now take further steps:

• Edit a variation: Select the item number of a variation to make changes to it.
• Edit the variations in the table: For example, select the item no., the name or the list price of one of the variations. Then you can change this data. To change other data of a variation, select the arrow at the end of a row. For example, you can change the strike price, shipping weight, product code or reference unit for this variation.  
• Display the variations in the store: Select products in the first column of the table and select the Sichtbarkeit button to make changes.  
• Add more variations to the product: Select the Assistenten starten link in the box at the top.

Important note

• If you delete the main product, the variations will also be deleted.
• Variation products cannot have their own variations.
• When attributes are deleted, all product data defined for those attributes can no longer be modified.
• Once variations exist for a product, its product type can no longer be changed.
• When you create the stock for a new product with variations, it will be applied to all variations. You can separately maintain the stock for each individual variation. You do this by selecting Produkte and then Produkte anzeigen from the main menu in the administration area, selecting the item number of the main product you want to edit, and then moving the mouse pointer over the stock level of one of the variations. Select the pencil icon and they can enter a stock level. You can enter the minimum stock level at the main product.
• The number of values available to you depends on the store package you have booked.
