Der folgende Artikel dient der Ersteinrichtung ihres cPanel Hosting Paket.
Auf unseren cPanel Servern-Systemen werden automatisiert Protokolle (sog. Logfiles) für bestimmte Dienste auf dem Server erfasst. Hier erfahren Sie, wie lange diese Logfiles vorgehalten werden und wie Sie diese einsehen können. Alle Logfiles werden wöchentlich rotiert, archiviert und stehen für die jeweils genannte Vorhaltezeit zur Verfügung.
Es werden folgende Daten in den Statistik-Tools gespeichert:
- IP-Adresse des Webseiten-Besuchers
- Herkunft des Besuchers (von welcher Seite aus kam der Besucher)
- Aus welchem Land kommt der Webseiten-Besucher?
- Welchen Browser verwendet der Webseiten-Besucher?
Es werden folgende Daten in den Logfiles (Apache-Logfile und Error-Logfile) gespeichert:
- IP-Adresse des Besuchers
Da die Ansicht dieser Daten im cPanel nicht deaktiviert werden kann, ist es erforderlich, dass der Besitzer der Domain/Webseite in seiner Datenschutzerklärung die Besucher der Webseite entsprechend informiert, welche Daten wie lange gespeichert werden.

The following article serves to set up your cPanel hosting package for the first time.
On our cPanel server systems, protocols (so-called log files) are automatically recorded for certain services on the server. Here you can find out how long these log files are kept and how you can view them. All log files are rotated and archived weekly and are available for the specified retention period.
The following data is saved in the statistics tools:
- IP address of the website visitor
- Origin of the visitor (from which page the visitor came)
- Which country is the website visitor from?
- Which browser does the website visitor use?
The following data is saved in the log files (Apache log file and error log file):

Since the view of this data in the cPanel cannot be deactivated, it is necessary that the owner of the domain / website informs the website visitors accordingly in his data protection declaration which data will be saved for how long.
