Wo finde ich nach der Migration den Zugang zur cPanel Administration?

Den Login zur cPanel Administration finden Sie in Ihrem KIS unter dem Menüpunkt "Produktverwaltung – cPanel Webhosting bzw. cPanel Webserver”. Klicken Sie dazu rechts neben Ihrem Paket auf cPanel Login. Über ein zwischengeschaltetes Dashboard “Mein-Hosting”, in dem Sie eine Übersicht der cPanel Verträge einsehen können, gelangen Sie zur cPanel-Administration.

Unter FTP-Verbindungen sehen Sie genau, welche FTP-Benutzer Zugriff haben und welche Aktionen von diesen ausgeführt wurden. Somit lassen sich unrechtmäßige Zugriffe via FTP auf einen Blick erkennen und Gegenmaßnahmen ergreifen.

Wo verwalte ich meinen SSH-Zugang?

Nach dem Login in die cPanel Webhosting / cPanel WebServer Administration können Sie in den Einstellungen auf der rechten Seite über den Reiter “Server” Ihren SSH-Zugriff aktivieren bzw. deaktivieren. Dieser steht standardmäßig auf “Aus”.

Mit einem Klick auf “verwalten” öffnet sich die Übersicht mit den Zugangsdaten (IP-Adresse, Port, cPanel-Benutzername und Passwort). Das Passwort für Ihren SSH-Zugriff können Sie hier bearbeiten.

Where can I find access to the cPanel administration interface after the migration?  

You will find the login to the cPanel administration interface in your KIS under the menu item ‘Product Admin – cPanel Webhosting or cPanel Webserver”. To do this, click on cPanel Login to the right of your package. You can access the cPanel administration via an intermediate dashboard (My Hosting), in which you can view an overview of important key data and managed domains.

Where do I create new FTP accounts and passwords? 

After logging into the cPanel administration interface, you can create, edit and manage or delete accounts for the FTP file transfer protocol under the ‘Files’ section using the ‘FTP accounts & FTP connections’ tool. FTP connections show you exactly which FTP users have access, and which actions have been carried out by them. This allows you to recognise unauthorised access via FTP at a glance and take countermeasures.

Where do I manage my SSH account? 

After logging into the cPanel Webhosting / Webhosting Plus administration interface (in the customer menu under ‘Products & Software’), you can activate or deactivate your SSH access in the settings on the right-hand side via the ‘Server’ tab. This is set to ‘Off’ by default.

Click on ‘Manage’ to open the overview with the access data (IP address, port, cPanel username and password). You can edit the password for your SSH access here.

How do I create a cronjob in the cPanel target tariff?
